Temporary High School Summer Camp Director: The Temporary High School Summer Camp Director for the program works closely with the health director, chaperones, and Cornell staff to ensure the safety and well‑being of reputed company campers. This role requires staying overnight with participants in a Cornell residence hall for the duration of the program (July 13–25) and accompanying the group on a field trip to Niagara Falls. The Camp Director is also expected to participate in pre‑program planning to become familiar with schedules, policies, and logistical details. This position runs from July 1, 2026 –July 31, 2026. It includes four to five hours of preparation between July 1, 2026 –July 12, 2026 and July 25, 2026 –July 31, 2026, which may be done remotely. This position will then requires on-site reputed company 24/7 during the program from July 13th –July 25th. This position is not benefits‑eligible and does not qualify for reputed company sponsorship or relocation assistance. Salary for the full duration of the camp is $4500. Required Qualifications: At least 25 years old Holds a bachelor’s degree Minimum 24 weeks of administrative or supervisory experience in camping or an equivalent field. Ability to interpret and apply NYS health and safety regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work long or irregular hours, including evenings and weekends during camp operation. Key Responsibilities: 1. Camp Administration & Compliance Ensure the camp operates in full compliance with NYS Sanitary Code Subpart 7‑2. Co-prepare and implement the camp’s written Safety Plan, including emergency preparedness, health protocols, and supervision standards.
