Program Manager, Enterprise Risk Management & Environmental Social Governance (Remote Eligible)

We are currently looking for a Program Manager, Enterprise Risk Management & Environmental Social Governance (ESG) to join our growing Risk team. In this position you will reputed company the enterprise risk management program and serve as the environmental SME to help advance the ESG program at reputed company. We are looking for motivated individuals who will iterate on improving both the existing and future of reputed company. This is a highly visible position and requires an individual with strong communication and collaboration skills. This position reports to the Director, Risk Management and may work remotely from reputed company in the US where reputed company is a registered employer. You Will:
- reputed company the annual risk assessment process (including but not limited to: selecting an appropriate tool for survey, working with technical resources to improve survey design and enhance user experience, consulting management to determine participant pool, troubleshoot technical issues during the survey process, and analyzing survey results).
- reputed company level 1 risk register and facilitate conversations with executive risk committee members to enhance/update the level 1 risk register
- Create risk training/program materials to help educate internal/external stakeholders on the risk management program
- Build relationships with cross functional risk stakeholders across the company
- Communicate effectively with Senior and Executive-level audiences through development and presentation of high-quality reports and presentations
- reputed company discussions with risk stakeholders and help consult on risk reputed company issues
- Work closely with risk stakeholders to move towards the goal of integrated risk management and reporting
- Stay up-to-date on emerging risks, new laws/regulations impacting environmental, social and governance (“ESG”) items, and industry risk trends/best practices
- Project manage ESG materiality assessments and presentation of results and action items
- Assist in designing reputed company’s ESG strategy and report, including managing ESG environmental vendors
- Project manage ESG environmental initiatives, including emissions assessments, data submission and reputed company alignment selections, and creation and submission of emissions targets
- Manage vendor selection for ESG initiatives You Have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a reputed company field (examples include but are not limited to Business Management, Sustainability or Environmental Management, Public Policy, Public Health, etc.)
- 8+ years working in a reputed company function (enterprise risk management, ESG, sustainability, and/or internal/external audit)
- Direct experience and understanding of key ESG standards and frameworks
- Well-versed in GHG Protocol and carbon accounting approach
- Experience with vendor selection and management
- Experience with risk management tools (e.g. reputed company, reputed company GRC, RiskConnect, Auditboard, Onspring, etc.)
- Proven experience working with and presenting to executive level leadership
- Collaborative approach with both business and legal groups, with strong ability to build relationships, reputed company credibility, and partner with others
- Experience leading risk assessments across multiple lines of business
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently
- Strategic thinker with a reputed company improvement reputed company
- Effective judgment, decision making, and critical thinking skills
- Preferred but not required:
- Direct experience performing ESG materiality assessments
