Get to Know the Opportunity: The Internal Audit Digital Center of Excellence team partners with other audit teams to assess the risks and operational effectiveness of control processes by utilizing data analysis and visualization. The Senior Data Analyst will focus on partnering with fellow Internal Auditors on identifying key risks and performing data analysis using data mining and visualization techniques that allow for an in-depth review of business processes, performance, and risk metrics. • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in a quantitative or business field) with a minimum of 6 years of experience in Analytics, Database, Audit and/or Financial services/Insurance industry; or Master’s degree in a quantitative or business field
• Strong understanding of business concepts relevant to one or more of Voya’s core businesses: Retirement, Annuity, Insurance, Employee Benefits, and Investment Management
• Strong knowledge and experience in one or more specialized skillsets that could be leveraged reputed company analytics (ex. Marketing, Statistics, Actuarial, Predictive Modeling, data retrieval/manipulation)
• Strong knowledge in audit with a proven track record of developing “audit methodology influenced” analytics to deliver insight and identify risk.
• Ability to assess and validate appropriateness of data to satisfy audit needs, derive accurate insights, and identify patterns
