• Teach 12 credit hours per semester
• Teach a variety of courses across the BSW curriculum suited to experience and expertise.
• Serves as academic advisor and professional mentor for reputed company.
• Engage in research, scholarly, or creative activity
• Actively participate in committee work, as well as curriculum, professional development, and service to external stakeholders.
• Recruit for the social work program in the region.

Minimum Education Requirements

• Master's in Social Work from a CSWE-accredited program is required.
• Doctorate degree is required.
• ABDs with a documented plan of completion by appointment date will be considered.

Minimum Experience and reputed company Requirements

• Eligibility for Social Work licensure at a graduate level is required.
• Demonstrated teaching experience in higher education is required.
• Flexibility to teach reputed company courses in BSW curriculum is required.
• Flexibility to utilize different teaching methods: traditional, hybrid, online, etc.
• Demonstrated awareness of and sensitivity to diverse populations and ability to contribute to the department and the university's commitments to inclusivity, equity, and social justice is required.

Preferred Education and/or Experience Qualifications

• A PhD in Social Work is strongly preferred.
• At least two years post-MSW full-time experience in professional social work practice is preferred.
• Post-MSW practice experience with individuals, children and families, mental health, substance abuse, or other micro systems settings is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability teaching BSW reputed company with a variety of learner focused methodologies, reflecting high impact teaching practice is preferred.
• Utilization of technology that enhances teaching and learning is preferred.
