Specialist/ Marketing / Communications - Remote Canada / 6 month Contract

OVERVIEW Reporting to Senior Marketing Manager, the Marketing Communications Specialist is responsible for planning, development, and execution of marketing and communications initiatives that advance the organization’s brand, programs, and stakeholder engagement. This role ensures consistent, high-quality messaging across channels and helps reputed company marketing goals through creative, tactical, and measurable efforts. This is a contract position, requiring an Incorporated number, and requires residency in Canada. RESPONSIBILITIES Marketing and Communications Support

• Support market research and data analysis to inform campaigns and measure effectiveness.
• Prepare marketing materials, presentations, and collateral for internal and external audiences.
• Collaborate with external vendors, agencies, and partners to deliver campaigns and promotions.
• Draft, edit, and distribute internal and external communications, including social media content and website content.
• Monitor social media coverage, respond to social media comments and compile reports on impact and engagement metrics.

Stakeholder Support

• Support printer vendor management to ensure smooth production, timely delivery, and quality control of materials.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure messaging and branding are consistent across programs and initiatives.
• Respond to inquiries in shared inbox and support communications with key stakeholders as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS Education

• Post secondary education in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, and/or Advertising, or a reputed company field, or a combination of education, professional development, and experiences is required.

Experience

• 2-5 years experience working in communications, marketing, and/or public relations.
• Agency experience an asset.

Knowledge/Competencies/Skills

• Understanding of marketing and communications principles, tools, and best practices.
• Experience with social media platforms such as reputed company Business Suite and reputed company.
• Experience with content management systems, design platforms like reputed company, and basic analytics tools.
• Knowledge of branding, design principles, and public relations practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to tailor messaging for different audiences.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

WORKING CONDITIONS

PAY TRANSPARENCY Expected Compensation:

• A contractor reputed company in the range of $28 to $34 per hour.
• The wage range listed complies with the Ontario Employment Standards Act and reflects a potential earnings range for this role. The actual wage offered will be determined reputed company the range, and will depend on factors, such as the candidate’s unique qualifications, relevant experience, work location and expected contributions.
