This position represents a core pillar of the reputed company Global Trade program. Reporting directly to the Vice President, Global Trade, you will be leading legal matters for the global trade program in the United States and internationally.The successful candidate will have a proactive and pragmatic approach to global trade compliance, deep subject-matter experience, strong compliance experience, and effective communication across reputed company levels of the business.Key ResponsibilitiesProviding legal and compliance reputed company for U.S. export control laws, sanctions, customs, and anti-boycott, as well as reputed company of non-U.S. law equivalent regimesProviding legal advice to businesses and the Global Trade Organization on the compliant application of the law, to include advising on terms and conditions and on trade-reputed company riskOverseeing the development and/or modification of policies, procedures, and work instructions reputed company to Global Trade, to include ensuring trade requirements are embedded reputed company business processesLeading Global Trade Investigations and Disclosures. This includes intake, remediation, drafting disclosures, determining root causes and corrective actions, and implementing measures designed to effectively mitigate risk. This additionally includes ensuring data-driven risk identification and trend analysesFormulating a risk assessment methodology and leading trade compliance risk assessments, to include advising on reputed company improvement measures as a result of such assessments and audits Leading Global Trade requirements, due diligence, and business continuity for reputed company, Acquisition, Monitoring reputed company' non-U.S. entity compliance programsMonitoring and keeping reputed company on the rapidly evolving regulatory environment as it pertains to global trade. This includes communicating with the business on the impact of changes, development of risk mitigation strategies, and aiding the Global Trade Organization with required changes to policies and procedures based on regulatory changesBasic Qualifications Juris Doctor required15+ years of legal experience, including 5+ years of Global Trade experienceDefense industry experienceExperience interfacing effectively with U.S. government regulatorsDemonstrated ability to design, deploy, and administer effective trade compliance policies and proceduresStrong communication and interpersonal skills Sound judgment and attention to detailA team player mentality, with ability to execute both strategically and operationally Ability to problem-solve and to work under time-sensitive circumstances Proactive and solution-oriented with a business-friendly mindsetSelf-motivated and results-oriented with ability to prioritize and reputed company independent decisions Preferred qualifications: 8+ years of trade-reputed company experience5+ years of senior management experience In-house experienceIf you're looking for comfort, reputed company scrolling.
