Our experts assess data privacy risk and readiness relative to existing and emerging privacy regulations and help organizations build and mature their privacy programs.Role Overview:Our Privacy practice is a rapidly growing part of the Data & Technology segment of our business. Our professionals help our clients address their data privacy challenges, including conducting privacy risk assessments, creating policies and procedures, building data inventories, reviewing and interpreting regulatory changes, developing consumer response processes, implementing technology and assisting organizations through privacy related regulatory investigations. We are seeking a Senior Associate level candidate, although this may be filled at a different level depending on the candidate's qualifications.This role has a remote location in the United States.Responsibilities:Lead the day-to-day activities of engagements including interaction with other team members, subject matter experts, and client contactsManage all facets of client engagements, including work stream supervision, client interaction, and billingCreate project status summaries and/or reports and metrics, written analyses or assessments, and other presentations of work performedCreate and review consistent and thorough documentation including policies and procedures to support privacy framework towards regulation compliance or readinessSupport the design and development of robust API/system integrations utilizing cutting-edge privacy tools, acting as a key system architectAssist with in-depth analyses of network traffic and employ advanced network scanning toolsCreate documentation identifying data flows between various systems and technologiesActively participate in internal and external team meetings including client assessments, presentations, and status meetingsManage time and tasks to meet internal and external deadlinesActively contribute to the growth and development of junior team members through trainings, informal mentorship, recruiting efforts, and culture buildingMaintain a professional image within the company and project the same to those outside of the company.Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree with a solid academic performanceDegrees in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or other technology related concentrations preferred2-5 years of relevant industry-specific experience in data privacy or compliance2+ years experience using and implementing OneTrust or other data privacy management solutionsExperience working with tools such as PostMan, Fiddler, Wireshark, AWS, AzureCertified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) certification (preferred)Willingness and flexibility to travel as requiredConsulting experience related to legal, compliance and/or data privacyKnowledge and experience developing and managing key privacy deliverables such as: data inventory registers, cookie/pixel consent solutions, privacy impact assessments, vendor risk review, and privacy trainingDemonstrate a strong object-oriented approach and a foundational grasp of full stack development, ensuring seamless, secure, and efficient data operationsKnowledge of various internet protocol layers, emphasizing a holistic view of network security and performanceProject management experience including understanding of project life cycles (PMP or other project management certifications preferred)For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in California, Colorado, or New York, Ankura is required to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to the said markets and considers a broad range of factors including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. The range does not include additional benefits outside of salary. At Ankura, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each role.
