Job title: Corporate Counsel Company: Ocean Spray Job description: The Corporate Counsel is part of the Legal team and will report to the Legal Director - Commercial. This role is responsible for providing sound legal advice across a variety of areas, including contract review and negotiation, risk analysis for business initiatives, and research and advice in areas of the law impacting a global consumer packaged goods company and agricultural cooperative. Primary duties include, but are not limited to, providing legal advice to different business teams, contract review, review of marketing materials and labeling, and general legal advice. The ideal candidate enjoys taking the initiative, thrives in a fast-paced environment- pivoting between multiple priorities and likes working on a team, as well as, independently! The position will be a hybrid between remote & onsite work based in Lakeville or Boston, MA A Day in the Life of the Corporate Counsel:

• Serve as cross-functional support to International & Ingredients (I&I) Center of Excellence, managing international legal support and helping to facilitate business initiatives under Annual Operating Plan and Long Range Plan.
• Bridge international regional and corporate legal perspective to help close gaps in practice and improve risk management of I&I business (e.g., tax structure, patronage, cooperative, antitrust, etc.).
• Responsible for a variety of legal projects, including contract review and negotiation, risk analysis for business initiatives, research and advice in areas of the law impacting a global consumer packaged goods company and agricultural cooperative.
• Works collaboratively with and provides legal advice to cross-functional teams within the company on diverse topics, including business transactions, litigation and other disputes, labor/employment matters, and compliance with applicable laws.
