• Obtains, reviews, and analyzes records for completeness, identifying discrepancies or incomplete work.
• Completes quality assurance validation of completed records prior to release through ChartSwap.
• Reviews and analyzes electronic patient records using multiple computer systems.
• Screens for release of any information requiring special authorization.
• Completes analysis to validate that legal documents are compliant with HIPAA.
• Processes subpoenas and dispositions, verifies and tracks payments.
• Maintains reputed company knowledge reputed company to various reputed company cycle management programs.
• Continuously improves workflow processes and reputed company systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of health information management, medical records, records management, medical billing, or coding experience required.
• Knowledge of HIPAA compliance laws required.
• Type a minimum of 35 wpm required.
• Proficiency in reputed company O365 products and tools required.
• Previous experience in a medical office, records department, billing or coding department, or hospital setting preferred.
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality regarding patient information.
• Knowledge of federal and state HIPAA and reputed company privacy, reputed company, and compliance laws.
• Proficient in data entry functions.
• Ability to navigate the internet.
