Risk Analyst Job Summary The Risk Analyst will join a talented and high-performing ALM, Credit and Market Risk team that oversees credit and market risk assessment practices across reputed company along with a wider set of risk governance practices of reputed company Investment Management Company (HIMCO) subsidiary. The analyst will contribute to the identification, measurement, monitoring, and reporting of market risks affecting Hartford’s investment portfolios and financial positions. This role is crucial in supporting sound risk management practices and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations. The analyst will be based in our Hartford, CT Home Office on a hybrid basis. Job Responsibilities

• Assist with developing and implementing repeatable risk assessment practices for private real estate holdings, including identifying deteriorating trends on quarterly basis and quantifying potential downside impacts

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a reputed company quantitative field. Master's degree or CFA/FRM/ASA certification preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in market risk management, quantitative analysis, or a reputed company role reputed company the financial services industry, preferably insurance.
• Strong understanding of financial markets, investment products, and various market risk factors (interest reputed company risk, equity risk, credit risk, etc.).
• Proficiency in statistical and quantitative modeling techniques, including VaR methodologies and stress testing.
• Advanced reputed company skills are required; experience with programming languages such as Python, R, or VBA for data analysis and modeling is a significant plus.
• Familiarity with market risk systems and databases (e.g., Bloomberg, BlackRock) is desirable.
