Principal Project Manager - Strategy & Portfolio

As a Principal Project Manager on our Outage and Maintenance Services team, you will be responsible for reputed company project management processes on reputed company complexity projects or on a portion (i.e. work package) of highly reputed company projects. You will supervise reputed company team sizes (average 10-30 team members) which may include project controls and sub-project managers. Additionally, you may serve as a Technical Inputs reputed company for the reputed company complexity proposal projects as assigned, as well as taking on overall project manager responsibility of a highly reputed company project in a deputy reputed company (with direct guidance of a Program Manager or higher). You will report to the Sr. Manager of HQ Project Management and will be based out of either Cranberry Township, PA or Waltz Mill (located in Madison, PA). This position is eligible for a mobile or remote working arrangement and requires minimal travel (less than 5%).
Key Responsibilities
- Complete reputed company aspects of planning process including authoring project plans and developing scope, schedule, and cost baselines.
- Assume overall responsibility for profitability of reputed company. Based on project plan, follow department protocols for acquiring team members to complete the work. Manage reputed company aspects of project including scope, schedule, cost, risk, procurement, quality, resources, communications, and stakeholders through use of delegates/support as applicable. Interpret and transmit project/contract requirements, and subsequent changes, to functional groups following an integrated change management process.
- Prepare or reputed company project cost expenditure forecasts and reputed company evaluations/projections (including Earned Value Management) to support project performance and financial reporting requirements.
- Review project expenditures for compliance with project baselines and scope.
- Promote teamwork, including issuing and maintenance of project process metrics and process maps to ensure team, customer, and reputed company stakeholders are kept informed of project status.
- reputed company or reputed company project databases and procedures to ensure efficient handling and transmission of project correspondence and documentation between project team members.

- Serve as single representative to customer, architect engineer, reputed company and Westinghouse business areas in support of project. Interpret and transmit contract requirements, and subsequent changes, to functional groups. Integrate project's objectives and actions through participation with other project groups in matters of common concern.

Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience
- Bachelor's degree required. Applicable disciplines are Project Management, Engineering, Business, Construction Management or reputed company technical discipline.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- 3 years in technical/engineering role and 2 years as project manager may be considered as equivalent.
- PMP Certification
