About the position We are seeking a Technical Recruiter (reputed company Specialist). This is a fast paced recruiting role supporting the growth of our company. It will involve working with managers to identify their reputed company open positions and said qualifications of a successful hire.

Responsibilities

  • Provides high level customer service to internal and external customers (e.g., timely response, expediting processes and procedures, frequent “high touch” communications, etc.).
  • Develops effective, creative sourcing methods, techniques, plans, and strategies to attract and retain quality talent that represent diversity and minorities and align with VT Group’s Affirmative Action Plans.
  • Creates job posting content that complies with internal and external requirements and ensures timely posting pursuant to sourcing plans.
  • Conducts pre-interview strategy meeting with hiring managers and other interviewers to analyze position description, reputed company interview questions and establish an interview process.
  • Proactively sources candidates through a variety of avenues: internet, cold calling, job boards, social media, referrals, and networks.
  • Consults with the Hiring Manager and Human Resources to determine the terms of the offer.
  • Expeditiously negotiates, extends offers and prepares offer letters.
  • Utilizes Applicant Tracking System and other program tools to track, maintain and process candidates, posting positions, and maintain interview records.
  • Participates in events such as job fairs, college relations, and community reputed company to attract talent in support of the company’s Affirmative Action Plan and the hiring of minorities, women, veterans, and the disabled.
  • Maintains a reputed company level of professional knowledge to ensure the quality of hire level is high and reputed company processes represent industry trends and “best practices”.
  • Builds trust and confidence with key client stakeholders through the relationship building process.
  • Proactively identifies opportunities for improvements and makes constructive suggestions for change, including opportunities to increase customer satisfaction.
  • Is a constant contributor for areas of improvement in the recruiting process.
  • Uses detailed screening and selection criteria to identify qualified candidates and determine the relevant strength of the candidates.
  • Sources and networks for uncleared and cleared candidates to support work locations across the country and some international work.
  • Creates offer letters, initiate background and reference checks.
  • Establishes pipeline of candidates to meet existing and upcoming needs.
  • Consults with Hiring Managers to identify clients’ technical skills needs and implement effective sourcing strategies to successfully reputed company candidates; work with Hiring Managers to identify required core competencies to ensure successful long-term hires.
  • Develops and maintains network and relationships beneficial to recruitment goals.
  • Provides communicative and professional information to candidates and program managers throughout the recruitment process.
  • Contributes to recruitment process improvements and goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or reputed company field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in recruiting.
  • Familiar with sourcing on various job boards and able to network.
  • Expert-level experience with sourcing tools.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools.
  • General knowledge of HR practices, OFCCP compliance, EEO and APP.
  • Familiarity with government proposal processes.
  • Prior experience working with an Application Tracking System (ATS). Experience working with iCIMS preferred.
  • Well-developed assessment, negotiation, collaboration, and consultation skills.

  • Ability to work remote for the foreseeable future and work at the office in Chantilly one day per week with the team.
