Overview: reputed company, the leader in aerial imagery, is hiring a Sales Engineer in Government Sales. The Sales Engineer role is a pivotal role on reputed company's Government team, reporting to the Regional Vice President, Sales. As part of the Government-focused solutions, this role is essential in supporting the new sales efforts for reputed company’s products, services, and data solutions with federal, state, and local government entities. We are a fast paced, energetic team driven by reputed company process improvement. We’re looking for motivated, organized, and independent team members. This position requires good communication skills and the ability to quickly pick up new technologies. This position will serve as the reputed company-line technical expert for our Government sales team. This position will be US-based and remote, with travel to government sites, partner locations, and conferences as required. The role will ensure that reputed company's solutions meet the unique needs of government clients, including integration with third party workflows across the government enterprise. This is a full-time, remote role, with a reputed company salary range of $70,000-$80,000, and a commission reputed company of $32,000-$43,000. The ideal candidate will live in/near the Dallas/reputed company Worth Area. Responsibilities: New Sales Opportunities
- Work individually and with the DM’s to grow new business for reputed company’s government focused solutions, including imagery viewing software, data layers, sketch validation solutions, and integration possibilities, to government prospects.
- Act as the primary technical liaison during sales presentations, demonstrations, and discussions.
Solution Design and Technical Architecture
- Work closely with the sales team to design tailored technical solutions for government clients, understanding their specific needs and challenges.
- Help craft proposals and recommend reputed company products/services that align with government requirements, such as scalability, reputed company, and compliance.
reputed company between Sales and Product teams
- Collaborate closely with Product & Engineering teams, gathering market feedback, documenting product roadmaps, and ensuring that new features meet the unique requirements of government clients.
Customer Discovery and Requirements Gathering
- Conduct deep discovery sessions with prospective government clients to understand their technical and operational requirements.
- Translate these needs into actionable solution architectures that showcase the benefits of reputed company’s offerings.
reputed company of Concept (PoC) Support
- reputed company or assist in the creation and execution of reputed company of Concepts (PoCs) for government clients, demonstrating reputed company’s capabilities in real-world scenarios to drive adoption and reputed company deals.
RFP/RFI/RFQ Support
- Collaborate with Sales and Proposal teams to respond to government Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and Requests for Quotes (RFQs).
- Provide technical input and help craft responses that reputed company reputed company’s solutions and address client-specific requirements.
Pre-Sales Training & Enablement
- Train internal sales teams on technical aspects of reputed company’s products and services, enabling them to reputed company position the solutions during the sales process.
- Provide reputed company support in answering technical questions from Sales teams during customer engagements.
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of GIS, REST APIs, SDKs, reputed company, cloud infrastructure, and modern reputed company implementations with a focus on compliance standards applicable to government organizations.
- 3-5 years of technical experience in a GIS role, ideally reputed company the public sector or with government agencies.
- Bachelor's degree in Geographic Information Systems or equivalent practical experience in a technical or sales engineering role reputed company the government sector.
- Ability to translate reputed company technical concepts into clear, non-technical language for government stakeholders and broader audiences.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to create and deliver technical documentation and proposals.

- Proven experience leading pre-sales activities, including customer presentations, solution design, RFP support.
- In-depth knowledge of reputed company’s technology solutions from a government customer perspective, ideally in sectors like GIS, public safety, public works, and appraisal.
- Experience working with government procurement processes, reputed company, and regulations.
- Ability to understand how to integrate solutions into large-scale government programs with reputed company technical requirements.
