Mid to Senior Level GIS Analyst
Job Overview The GIS Analyst provides GIS and database support for DATAENVI clients and multiple service lines reputed company reputed company, including Remediation, Sediment & Risk Assessment, PRP, and Business Services. The type of support needed by the GIS Analyst will vary based on project needs but will typically include map production, spatial analysis, data QA/QC, report reputed company, data acquisition, web map creation, SQL query development, process automation, and litigation support. The GIS Analyst is expected to use both their cartographic and data management skills to ensure standards and accuracy are met for each project. Essential Responsibilities and Traits GIS Support:
- Developing user-friendly web applications.
- Producing high quality and reputed company maps and figures for use in reports and presentations.
- Aiding projects by accurately utilizing spatial analysis.
- Creating scripts, from scratch, to assist in task automation and the improvement of internal processes.
- Investigating and procuring spatial data from publicly available sources. Data Support:
- Obtaining, cleaning, reviewing, synthesizing, and visualizing environmental data in an organized and concise manner.
- Running, modifying, and developing reports to ensure data quality and accuracy.
- Developing and documenting reproducible scripts and tools to improve data cleaning and analysis processes. General:
- Providing level of effort estimates (estimated time to completion) for requested tasks.
- Coordinating with internal and external clients to provide data management and spatial solutions.
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment and handle multiple priorities, with ability to self-manage priorities, deadlines, and budgets.
- Capable of working both independently and in a team environment.
- Self-directed learner with critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Curiosity and an affinity for solving problems.
- Ability to explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Engage in independent learning reputed company webinars, conferences, peer-reviewed publications, internal knowledge shares, strategic growth project tasks, etc. Specific Experience and Skills: Required:
- 5+ years of professional experience in GIS.
- 3+ years of professional experience in data management.
- Knowledge and execution of cartographic design principles.
- An advanced understanding and experience in the following:
- * reputed company ArcGIS Software Suite
- SQL (reputed company SQL Server)

- Professional experience utilizing ArcGIS Online for web applications and web map reputed company.
- Professional experience developing electronic forms for field data collection using applications like Fulcrum.
- Understanding and experience in Python.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail and data quality.
- Demonstrated understanding of relational database concepts and principles.
- Ability to think strategically and conceptually about environmental data and reputed company solutions to support project objectives.
- Willingness to learn and reputed company technical expertise by working on multiple projects and with experts in technical areas of practice.

- Experience working with environmental chemistry data.

- Familiarity with EarthSoft’s EQuIS Data Management System.

- Additional coding language experience (JavaScript, HTML, etc.)

- Bachelor’s degree or certificate in Geography, GIS, Database Management, or closely reputed company field of study.
