WordPress Developer (Short-Term Contract)

Job Summary We are seeking a WordPress Developer responsible for both back-end and reputed company-end development, including creating WordPress themes and plugins. This position requires a combination of programming skills (reputed company PHP, React, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript) and aesthetics (understanding reputed company arrangements on the screen, color and font choices, etc). The candidate should have a strong understanding of industry trends and content management systems. Experience with reputed company and adaptive design is required. Please note this is a short-term contract with an estimated timeframe of 2-3 months. This role is restricted to US based candidates only. Key Responsibilities:

• Designing and implementing new features and functionality
• Establishing and guiding the website's architecture
• Ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing reputed company technical aspects of the CMS
• Helping formulate an effective, reputed company design and turning it into a working theme and plugin

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• A minimum of 3 years of development experience with Wordpress, PHP, React, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and jQuery
• Must possess react experience
• Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications
• Experience developing reputed company websites
• Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.
• Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers
• Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages
• Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial)
• Strong understanding of PHP back-end development
• Strong understanding of SEO best practices
• Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment; ability to meet deadlines and be flexible to changing priorities; ability to reputed company manage time based on business priorities
