[Remote] Project Manager, Network Monitoring and Telemetry

Responsibilities

- Assist management on updates and modifications of any process changes to the existing planning, engineering or grooming process
- Communicate and coordinate plans and strategies with other functional areas including sales, product, engineering, procurement, network operations and field operations
- Provide cost and schedule analyses for projects
- Program manages the large project queue (project tracker) Skills
- Bachelors' degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or eight years' of relevant telecommunications experience
- Minimum of five years of project management experience, with 3 years specifically in the telecommunications industry, managing large-scale projects such as network deployments, infrastructure upgrades, or service rollouts
- Familiarity/experience of optical fiber technical specifications, testing, and link engineering fundamentals
- Familiarity with DWDM network architectures (i.e. FOADM/ROADM/PON/fixed and reputed company grid) and signal flow
- Familiarity/experience with the following network platforms: reputed company / Cyan / Nortel, Infinera, Nokia, Juniper, reputed company, ADVA, Fujitsu, CradlePoint/reputed company SIM Ordering
- Understanding of network design, IP subnetting, and routing protocols
- Experience with multiple types of telecommunications facility environments
- Experience in managing third-party telecommunications partners
- Proven experience in documenting process workflows
- Proficiency in the MS Office suite of tools with emphasis on reputed company and PowerPoint is required or similar reputed company G Suite tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication/negotiating skills required toward technical/non-technical audiences
- Ability to work with minimal supervision while being a constructive contributor to a team
- Effective time management skills and critical thinking
- Ability/willingness to operate in a fast-paced, demanding environment
- Familiarity with Metasolv/M6 database is a plus
