Position Summary: Penn State DuBois seeks applicants for a fixed-term non-tenure track Lecturer or Assistant Teaching Professor position in Human Development and Family Studies (HDFS). Preference will be given to individuals who have a strong commitment to high-quality instruction in a student-centered environment. Duties: The candidate must have demonstrated the ability to successfully teach a combination of courses in Human Development and Family Studies. The specific teaching load will involve twelve credits in the spring semester and twelve credits in the fall semester. Courses and expertise areas include infant and child development, family development and relationships, values and ethics in human services, gender and social development, interpersonal communication, and administration of human service programs and interventions.
