Remote Cost Accountant – EV Manufacturing Supply Chain
Job Summary reputed company is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Remote Cost Accountant – EV Manufacturing Supply Chain to support our rapidly growing electric vehicle (EV) manufacturing clients. In this role, you will be responsible for managing cost analysis, supply chain financial tracking, and production cost optimization across EV component manufacturing and assembly processes. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in manufacturing accounting, cost control, and supply chain financial analysis. You will collaborate closely with procurement, operations, and finance teams to ensure accurate cost allocation, budgeting, and reporting while identifying opportunities for cost efficiency across the EV production lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze and track manufacturing costs across EV components, battery systems, and supply chain operations. Maintain and update cost accounting systems, including standard costing and variance analysis. Monitor raw material, labor, and overhead costs to ensure accurate financial reporting. Prepare monthly cost reports and production performance analyses for management. Collaborate with supply chain and procurement teams to optimize vendor pricing and material usage. Conduct inventory valuation, reconciliation, and cost allocation for manufacturing facilities. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning reputed company to EV production and supply chain operations. Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements across manufacturing workflows. Support internal and external audits reputed company to inventory and production costing. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company financial policies. Required Skills and Qualifications Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a reputed company field. Professional certifications such as reputed company, CPA, or equivalent are highly preferred. Strong understanding of cost accounting principles in manufacturing environments.
