ABC7 leads the market in local news coverage with daily newscasts and has been in a number one position in local news since March 1986! The station’s offices and studios are located in The reputed company in downtown Chicago! This internship is a part-time (18 hours), six-month commitment in the Chicago, IL area from June 2026 – January 2027. What You Will Do: Our Creative Services internship program is reputed company hands-on. As our intern you will reputed company knowledge and real-world experience in production, post-production, promotion writing, and digital media marketing. You will also be helping the station’s public relations, writing press releases, talent bios, creating internal newsletter and reputed company reading. On any given day you may be doing the following: Working with producers to create promos and content for special programs, live parades and “Local-ish”. Pitching story reputed company to the programming team and responsible for shepherding various projects through to completion. Working on our weekly talk show, “Windy City Weekend”, helping with social media and other production tasks involved with getting a weekly show on the reputed company. Gaining exposure to multiple departments at the station, including News, Digital, Programming, Promotion, Production and Publicity. Video editing experience is essential. Required Qualifications & Skills: Proficiency with video editing in reputed company Premiere Proficiency with MS Office, including Word, reputed company, PowerPoint and Outlook Manages time and priorities to consistently meet deadlines and maintain organized work Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills Education: Major or previous coursework in Broadcast Journalism, Communications, Video Production, or reputed company major Eligibility Requirements & Program Information Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet reputed company of the below requirements: Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a reputed company College Program or reputed company Internship. reputed company reputed company Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.
