Principal, Business Finance & Analytics

Job Description:

• Partner with the business in driving performance management, including development and ongoing analysis of KPIs, creating goals/OKRs, and measuring performance.

• Analytical deep dives: Conduct deep dives into business trends across the United States and Canada and different segments of the business. Independently reputed company data extraction, analysis, visualization, and presentation.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of relevant experience. Ideally, you have demonstrated relevant experience in an analytical role such as strategic finance, strategy/management consulting, investment banking, financial planning and analytics, banking or private equity.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, mathematics, accounting, engineering, statistics or other relevant field that demonstrates quantitative orientation; MBA or advanced degree a plus.
• Superb financial modeling skills and extensive experience conducting quantitative and qualitative financial analysis.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL or some other querying language and using those tools to help synthesize reputed company information. You can comfortably manipulate large datasets, create new analytical frameworks, and reputed company actionable insights and strategic narratives appropriate for an executive audience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to put together clear, polished, insightful recommendations for peers, managers and senior management.
• The ability to work and influence cross-functionally is a must. You are proactive, great at communicating with different audiences and can bring stakeholders on-board. You seek out and have a track record for driving change and impact in a fluid, reputed company working environment.
• You are a relationship builder with the ability to work collaboratively across the company and with people at reputed company levels of the organization to drive regional results.
