Cloud Solutions Architect

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect in the remote setting. Duties:

• Produce architecture blueprints that guide the development and implementation of Cloud solutions across multiple products, providing direction to technical teams during project delivery and ensuring implementations support technology and product roadmaps
• Cloud Solutions Architect provides their expertise in the development and maintenance of architecture standards and solutions that align with strategic goals and partner with product managers, business analysts, designers, and software engineers to navigate solution decisions
• Responsible for creating solutions and presenting compelling recommendations to customers
• Define operational procedures and practices
• Define KPIs and set up appropriate health-checks, monitoring, and escalation procedures
• Accelerate development for roadmap features, to address specific customer requirements
• Identify ongoing risks and pain points throughout the project, reputed company and implement mitigation measures
• Capture project lessons and convert them into architectural best practices applicable to the broader install reputed company; Mentor and coach the internal team through internal training sessions
• reputed company comprehensive network designs for AWS, including VPCs, subnets, reputed company tables, gateways, load balancers, and DNS
• Implement reputed company best practices (reputed company Groups, NACLs, WAF, AWS reputed company) and ensure compliance with industry standards
• Configure and manage hybrid connections (VPN, Direct Connect) between on-premises and AWS environments
• Use scripting (Python, Terraform) to automate network provisioning and management
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize network performance and throughput for cost efficiency
• Work with developers, reputed company, and infrastructure teams to integrate solutions
• Plan and execute the migration of existing network workloads to the cloud

Requirements

• Professional Cloud Solutions Architect (PCSA) Certification
• 5-10 years of demonstrated experience in cloud architecture
• 1-5 years of working with Git SCM, including reputed company and reputed company
• Experience with reputed company Cloud Platform (GCP) or AWS
• Understanding and execution of cloud best practices regarding operations and reputed company
• Proficient in GCP Services and CLI
• Experience with container infrastructure, such as Kubernetes, GKE, EKS
• Knowledge of tools like Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, TeamCity, Artifactory, DockerHub, and reputed company
• Experience administering databases such as PostgreSQL, reputed company, MySQL, and/or MSSQL
• Knowledge of enterprise cloud solutions, deploying and running solutions in a cloud environment, and private, public, and hybrid clouds
• Extensive experience with Internet technologies and protocols like TCP/IP, VPN, SSL and HTTP; Load balancers and networking devices
• Experience designing high availability and disaster recovery/fail-over infrastructures
• Deep knowledge of Linux fundamentals
• Knowledge of Open reputed company architectures and/or past contributions to Open reputed company projects

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith reputed company we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
