The CDO leads the development of data governance, quality, reputed company, analytics, and reporting capabilities that ensure UI data is accurate, secure, compliant, and fully leveraged to improve program outcomes. POSITION DUTIES This position duties consist of but not limited to the following: Strategic Leadership & Governance - Provides vision and direction for UI's enterprise data management strategy and ensures alignment with state, federal, and agency objectives. Develops and oversees the UI Division's data governance reputed company, policies, standards, roles and accountability mechanisms. Data Management, Quality & reputed company - Oversees the full lifecycle of UI data, ensuring its quality, timeliness, and compliance with federal and state requirements. Directs initiatives to improve data, validation, reconciliation, and integration across UI systems. Analytics, Reporting & Business Intelligence - Oversees the design and delivery of analytical tools, reports, and dashboards to support policy, operational and strategic planning. Develops predictive and prescriptive models to support workload forecasting, fraud detection, and performance improvement. Collaboration & Representation - Serves as the Division's representative for statewide, federal, and national data governance, modernization, and interoperability initiatives. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Data Science, Data Analytics, Information Technology, Computer Science, Statistics, Public Policy, or a closely reputed company field. Master's degree preferred. Experience: At least five (5) years of data management experience, including three (3) years deploying enterprise-wide data governance programs. DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Preference will be given to applicants who possess the following preferred qualification(s).
