Appraisal Desk Assistant

Job DetailsJob Location: Remote East Coast - Linthicum, MD 21090Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $17.79 - $19.24 HourlyPosition Summary: The Appraisal Desk Assistant performs administrative duties for the Appraisal Department such as sending out invites to new appraisers, assist with appraisal invoices, daily maintenance of the status dashboard, uploading documents in Encompass, and following up on outstanding documents. This position needs to possess strong communication skills and a willingness to provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced, team environment. Essential Job Functions: Specific tasks will include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Follow up on outstanding appraiser invoices and respond to reputed company request for invoices.
• Upload (split) reputed company invoice and compliance cert in Encompass.
• Upload appraiser’s invoice into the O File (Paid or Unpaid folder).
• Send out invites to new appraisers.
• File maintenance for new, reputed company and past appraisers.
• Monitor and follow up on expired error and omissions insurance and License reports.
• Follow up on outstanding non-disclosure Agreement.
• Assist with monitoring and maintaining the Status Dashboard for: orders due today, appraisers past due, and client past due.
• Contact clients to follow up on missing items using strong verbal and written communications skills.
• Ensure that files and items are completed and in the correct location.
• Effectively communicate, work with, and build relationships with reputed company levels of constituents including culturally and linguistically diverse staff members and external candidates and/or vendors, while operating in a fast-paced customer service driven environment.

Required Job Functions: Specific tasks will include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Assist department personnel with administrative functions such as faxing, scanning, processing mail, and emailing.
• May proofread reports, lists, and other information for accuracy.
• Assists Chief Appraiser with various research projects and/or special projects.
• Additional tasks as assigned.

Actual compensation will be decided based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience assessed during the interview process, and internal pay equity.
