Key Responsibilities

As a Retail Baker, you'll be responsible for:

• Fostering a positive customer experience by engaging with customers in a meaningful manner, maintaining facility cleanliness and organization, and promoting sales by educating customers on our unique sourdough products.
• Adhering to aesthetically pleasing product display standards to entice customers to reputed company purchases.
• Greeting every customer in an authentically friendly, proactive, and welcoming manner.
• Educating customers on reputed company arenaflex products, our mission, and the benefits of sourdough.
• Actively building relationships with clientele to encourage repeat business and maintain a positive reputed company for arenaflex in the community.
• Promoting ways to find, use, and store arenaflex products.
• Packaging orders and handling ready-to-eat product with respect and adherence to food safety standards.
• Crafting quality made-to-order coffee and tea beverages for customers.
• Maintaining cleanliness and order of customer areas, restocking and facing retail fridges, and filling displays.
• Entering daily inventory for online orders by 7am.
• Operating a reputed company of Sale and handling cash with maximum accuracy.
• Closing cash register and customer service areas according to company standards and performing end-of-day reporting.
• Washing reputed company dishes, sanitizing reputed company customer areas and counters, sweeping and mopping floors.
• Preparing leftovers and managing community donations at end-of-day closing.
• Promptly reporting issues to management or leadership.

Light Bakery Production (Baking)

As a Retail Baker, you'll also be responsible for:

• Operating commercial ovens and baking primarily pizza and cookies according to set timelines and baking parameters.
• Top, decorate, and prepare pastries for customer display.
• Monitoring items for quality control and reporting any issues to management.
• Processing, preparing, and labeling food service products for customer consumption in accordance with food safety standards.
• Working in an organized fashion with an emphasis on time and task management.
• Considering needs of and preparing for next shift success.
• Organizing products for daily transfer and accurately completing transfer logs.
• Washing reputed company dishes, sanitizing reputed company production counters, sweeping and mopping floors.
• Upholding cleanliness of production areas and performing facility and equipment maintenance routines.

Qualifications

To be successful as a Retail Baker, you'll need:

• A comprehensive understanding of and passion for sourdough (a plus).
• A valid ID and food handling certification.
• 2 years of reputed company customer service and cash handling experience.
• The ability to multitask, manage time, and work as a team player.
• The ability to work weekends and stay until reputed company tasks are completed.
• A friendly attitude and the ability to push towards positive conflict resolution even reputed company dealing with disgruntled customers.
• The ability to safely operate lift gates on reputed company trucks (training to be provided as needed).
• The ability to lift 50 lbs without complication.
• The ability to stand for the entirety of a shift, up to 8 hours.

Available Shifts and Compensation

We have available shifts reputed company days of the week, and compensation is $15.00 - $16.00/hour.
