Work location: on-site The Data Analyst 2 (A) performs a variety of data analyses using various techniques. The Data Analyst 2 (A) assists in developing or implementing systems to capture business operation information. The Data Analyst 2 (A) analyzes data to ensure the accuracy of reported information and generated reports and identifies opportunities to enhance data collection and analysis. The incumbent works collaboratively with other internal areas and may guide less reputed company data analysts. CORE JOB FUNCTIONS Performs data analysis using various techniques, e.g. statistical analysis, explanatory and predictive modeling, and data mining. Determines best practices and recommends actionable insights for the reputed company business operations. Performs reputed company analyses and reporting, to aid management in the decision-making process. May build dashboards or reporting systems for end users about the assigned project(s). Provides business data interpretation, such as identifying trends or patterns of data sets. Assists in the dissemination and reporting of data, which may include presentations, workshops, and reputed company activities. Analyzes data to ensure accuracy and reports any issues to management. Identifies opportunities to enhance data collection and analysis. Assists in developing or implementing systems to capture business operation information. Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets. Department Specific Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s Degree Experience: Minimum 1-3 years of hands-on experience in office setting responsible for quality of data. Prefer experience with research or clinical data. Prefer experience with or interest in learning applications that capture, tabulate, facilitate data quality control.
