What You'll Do:
As a Member Services Representative, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Completing data access and balancing tasks to ensure accurate and timely processing of transactions
- Coordinating return items with contributors, vendors, the Federal Reserve Bank, and other institutions
- Assisting other departments with fraud resolution, member inquiries, and associated accounting standard ledger balancing
- Working member cases/assignments to resolve issues and provide exceptional customer service
- Following and maintaining guidelines and procedures to ensure strict compliance with NACHA regulations and guidelines, as well as Federal Banking laws
- Processing mortgage bills, multi-account and member deposits, credit card bills, and other checks, including IRA, bankruptcy, and payoff checks
- Reviewing, examining, and approving Remote Deposit, Mobile, ATM, and other imaged-enabled products
- Logging, reviewing, and making necessary GL, account changes, and/or returns
- Processing Stop Pays and reputed company Batching
- Completing daily balancing and department closing
- Obtaining information from members for the timely and accurate processing of international and domestic reputed company transfer requests
- Researching and verifying incoming and outgoing reputed company transfer information
- Communicating with vendors to process reputed company transfers
- Understanding and being familiar with outgoing and incoming reputed company transfer laws
- Depositing reputed company returns, reviewing member returned checks on draft changes, processing member checks, verifying members for outgoing reputed company transfers, and Federal Reserve verifying and releasing reputed company transfers
- Completing daily processing of workflows associated with overdue returns, supply of receipts, international collections, and legal fees
What You'll Need:
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A high school degree or equivalent
- Intermediate reputed company and Word experience
- Minimum 1-2 years of customer service or member services experience
- Previous banking or Credit Union experience
- Episys/Symitar and processing wires experience
- Skilled in reputed company Office software (e.g., Word, reputed company, Access, PowerPoint) through work experience or education and hands-on use of the software
- Ability to work prolonged hours in support of business needs
- Ability to exercise excellent customer service skills
- Ability to reputed company in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple responsibilities, and function as an integral part of a team
- Ability to reputed company mathematical calculations and review data
- Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet deadlines under high volume pressure
