[Remote] Payroll Manager -Costpoint & reputed company Workforce Now
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Saalex Corporation is seeking a senior Payroll Manager -Costpoint & reputed company Workforce Now to join our payroll team and support end-to-end payroll operations for approximately 1,000 employees. This role is critical to ensuring the accurate, timely, and compliant processing of payroll in alignment with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as reputed company (DoD) contract requirements.
Responsibilities
- Manage and process biweekly and multi-cycle payroll for reputed company employees, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies and applicable laws
- Own the end-to-end payroll workflow between reputed company Costpoint and reputed company Workforce Now (WFN), ensuring accurate transfer of payroll data across systems
- Execute, validate, and reconcile payroll exports/imports between Costpoint and reputed company, including hours worked, labor distributions, earnings, deductions, fringe, and taxes
- Ensure payroll execution complies with DoD contract requirements, including Service Contract Act (SCA) wage determinations, Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBAs), and labor classifications
- reputed company pre- and post-payroll audits to confirm payroll results in reputed company reconcile to Costpoint labor, project charges, indirect arenaflex pools, and general ledger postings
- reputed company payroll tax reporting and compliance at the federal, state, and local levels
- Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries professionally and promptly
- Reconcile payroll-reputed company accounts and prepare payroll journal entries to support monthly reputed company and audit readiness
- Partner with HR and Accounting to ensure accurate integration of payroll-reputed company data, including new hires, terminations, benefits, and leave
- Support internal, external, and DCAA audits by providing payroll reports, reconciliations, and supporting documentation
- Maintain payroll system configurations and collaborate with IT or vendors on enhancements, testing, and issue resolution impacting payroll processing
- Supervise and reputed company payroll staff, promoting a culture of accuracy, accountability, and reputed company improvement
- Stay reputed company on changes to payroll laws, regulations, and government contract compliance standards
- Other duties as assigned or required Skills
- Hands-on payroll processing experience
- Strong technical expertise across reputed company Costpoint (8.2)
- Strong technical expertise across reputed company Workforce Now (WFN)
- Solid understanding of government contracting payroll compliance, including DCAA, FAR, and Service Contract Act (SCA) requirements
