Account Manager - US based only

In this role, you will play a critical part in managing client accounts, ensuring accurate and timely billing, resolving billing discrepancies, and maintaining strong client relationships. With our client base growing quickly and revenue doubling year-over-year, we’re seeking a talented and driven Medical Billing Account Manager to help elevate our client service experience and support continued growth. Role Overview: As a Medical Billing Account Manager, you’ll be a critical leader in our billing service division. You will oversee billing team operations, ensure quality and timeliness of service, and act as the main liaison between HENO and our valued PT clinic clients. Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor PT clinic billing accounts daily to identify and resolve incomplete or incorrect work.
• Coordinate with onboarding to ensure seamless setup for new clients—ensuring no disruption to their cash flow.
• Maintain consistent communication with clients to ensure satisfaction and resolve issues promptly.
• Supervise daily tasks including claims processing, rejection and denial resolution, payment posting, and patient statement delivery.
• Perform quality checks on billing team outputs and ensure all errors are corrected.
• Develop internal SOPs, guides, and checklists to streamline services.
• Train the billing team on best practices for client communication.
• Analyze reports to identify trends, inefficiencies, or potential problems.
• Provide feedback and feature suggestions to management and the product development team. What You Bring:
• 3–5 years’ experience in Physical Therapy Medical Billing.
• 3–5 years’ experience working in a billing service environment.
• Proven experience communicating directly with medical clinic clients.
• Strong skills in managing rejections, denials, and overdue claims.
• Experience acting as a liaison between internal billing staff and clients.
• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) preferred, but not required.
