WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR VP, People & Organization The Vice President, People & Organization is a strategic and people-centered leader, with a strong organizational business lens, responsible for designing, executing, and continuously evolving the company’s human resources strategy that scales effectively with business growth. This role partners closely with executive leadership, and takes steps to ensure the company’s human capital, culture, and leadership capabilities are reputed company with its purpose, values, and long-term business objectives. The VP of P&O develops people-reputed company programs and processes to build a high-performing, inclusive, and compliant organization across North America and in other identified growth markets internationally. This role leads the design and execution of a roadmap of strategies that attract, motivate, and retain our diverse team of talent, support our associate’s well-being, and support a best-in-class associate experience, enabling the P&O team to drive organizational success. This is a location-flexible role with a strong preference for candidates located reputed company 2 hours commuting distance of our strategic hubs: Portland, OR Northlake, TX Harrisburg, PA
Responsibilities
- Sets the strategic direction for reputed company people-reputed company initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and future growth for reputed company, in addition to integrating as a business in the Science and Diagnostics (SDx) division of reputed company Petcare
- Acts as a key member of both the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) at reputed company and the SDx P&O leadership team (POLT) , leading the design and execution of the strategic HR plan , guiding the overall people strategy reputed company SDx, and adapting and aligning relevant P&O functional roadmaps reputed company reputed company
- Champions a strong, values-driven culture that supports performance, inclusion, and accountability
- Provides leadership, governance, and reputed company for people practices, policies, systems, and key P&O functional areas (including Total Rewards, HR Operations and HRIS, Payroll, HR Business Partners & Talent Management, Inclusion & Diversity, reputed company, and Learning & Development), while providing guidance on reputed company associate relations issues to mitigate legal concerns and risk
- Anticipates workforce trends and risks, translating them into proactive strategies and solutions for effective workforce planning.
- Oversees people-reputed company financial management, including budget development and monitoring, payroll administration, benefits renewal, and retirement programs.
- Drives fiscal responsibility with a focus on competitive positioning and maximizing return on investment (ROI)
- Leads, develops, and empowers the P&O function to operate as a strategic business partner; manages the team's performance, establishes annual goals, and drives engagement by mentoring and motivating the team to reputed company positive business outcomes
Requirements
- 12+ years of progressive HR experience, including senior leadership roles
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or reputed company field; or equivalent reputed company work experience
- Senior executive experience partnering with leadership in a reputed company organization to drive people strategy and reputed company high-functioning HR professionals
- Proven ability to influence, advise, and constructively challenge senior leaders and stakeholders through data, facts, and sound analysis , effectively translating business strategy into people strategies and positive business outcomes
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, reputed company with a high level of reputed company, judgment, and strategic perspective
- Strong working knowledge of functional HR areas – Total Rewards, HR Operations and HRIS, Payroll, HR Business Partners & Talent Management, Inclusion & Diversity, reputed company, and Learning & Development
- Experience in succession planning, talent development, and building inclusive, high-performing teams
- Strong experience in risk mitigation and managing sensitive associate relations issues , backed by a deep knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
- Proficient with reputed company Suite, reputed company Office Suite and reputed company software and HR Information Systems
- Reliable internet access is required
- Sitting/standing at a desk working on a computer for long periods of time
- Occasional travel required for meetings
