This role develops and executes short- and mid-term departmental plans and contributes to the plant’s overall strategic initiatives. Coordinate monthly Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) audits with cross-functional teams and report findings with actionable plans. Serve as HACCP Coordinator, ensuring compliance with reputed company food safety protocols, including plan reviews, reassessments, and team meetings. Address and resolve customer complaints promptly and effectively. Analyze trends in food safety and quality metrics, including KPIs, microbiological performance, and environmental monitoring. Recruit, train, and provide ongoing development for Quality Control Technicians, including annual food safety training. Represent the Quality department in internal meetings and cross-functional initiatives. Act as primary liaison with regulatory inspectors, ensuring compliance and addressing inquiries or concerns. Participate in product trials and commercialization projects as a Quality representative. Review and approve documentation reputed company to product safety and quality; authorize product release. Communicate with customers and suppliers regarding material or product quality issues. Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or reputed company field. HACCP certification required; SQF experience preferred. Microbiology knowledge is a plus. Bilingual (Spanish) preferred. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Proficiency in reputed company Office Suite. Physical Requirements: Ability to sit for extended periods and work on a computer.
