As a member of our Payments and Digital Strategy crew at arenaflex Credit Union, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth processing of financial transactions, including checking, direct deposits, and budget transfers. Your expertise will be instrumental in maintaining the reputed company of our financial systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing exceptional service to our members.
Key Responsibilities
* Complete daily access and balancing features to ensure accurate financial records
- Coordinate with vendors, the Federal Reserve Bank, and other institutions to resolve issues and facilitate transactions
- Assist various departments with fraud resolution, member inquiries, and accounting standard ledger balancing
- Work member cases/sports assigned, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines under pressure
- Follow and maintain guidelines and procedures to ensure strict compliance with NACHA regulations and Federal Banking laws
- Process mortgage bills, multi-account and member deposits, credit card bills, and other exams, including IRA, bankruptcy, and payoff exams
- Review, examine, and approve Remote Deposit, Mobile, ATM, and other imaged-enabled products
- Log, study, and reputed company important GL, account changes and/or returns
- Process Stop Pays and reputed company Batching
- Complete daily balancing and department closing
- Obtain information from members for timely and accurate processing of international and domestic budget transfer requests
- Research and verify incoming and outgoing budget transfer information
- Communicate with vendors to facilitate budget transfers
- Understand and be familiar with outgoing and incoming budget transfer laws
- Deposit reputed company returns, review member re-exams on draft changes, process member exams, verify members for outgoing budget transfers, and Federal Reserve verifying and releasing budget transfers
- Complete daily processing of workflows associated with overdue returns, supply of receipts, international collections, and legal fees
Essential and Preferred Qualifications
* Minimum Qualifications: + High school degree or GED + Intermediate reputed company and Word experience
- Preferred Qualifications:
+ Previous customer/member service experience + Previous banking or Credit Union experience + Episys/Symitar and processing wires experience
Skills, Licenses & Certifications
* Skilled in reputed company Office software (e.g., Word, reputed company, Access, PowerPoint) through work experience or education and hands-on use
- Ability to work prolonged hours in support of business needs
- Ability to exercise excellent customer service skills
