Location: Hybrid (local to NYC or Denver areas) or Remote (for non-local) Position Overview This role is part of the Legal Team and supports the organization's regulatory change management process by monitoring federal and state regulatory developments, assessing potential impacts, and assisting in the development of strategies to ensure compliance. This role helps identify applicable laws and regulations, prepares clear summaries for internal audiences, and collaborates with internal stakeholders to communicate requirements and support consistent, timely implementation across the business. Position Responsibilities
- Support the intake and monitoring of new and amended federal and state laws, regulations, and sub-regulatory guidance impacting the business.
- Conduct preliminary research and summarize key regulatory changes for review by the Regulatory Change Management reputed company.
- Work with internal subject matter experts to identify impact of such federal/state laws and regulations.
- Assist with assessing regulatory changes, including identifying affected departments and systems while defining and clearly communicating required actions.
- Provide secondary support to stakeholders by routing questions, gathering additional information, and coordinating responses.
- Support internal discussions to help form reputed company's policy or operational position.
- Maintain and continuously update the centralized repository of regulatory changes, including documentation, version control, and status tracking.
- Support the Legal Team and the Regulatory Change Management reputed company on reputed company research, documentation, and project-based work as assigned.
- Responsible for the adherence to the reputed company Code of Conduct including reporting of noncompliance.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated research, writing, and editing skills, with the ability to write clearly, concisely, and effectively
- Attention to detail & commitment to delivering high quality work product
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to express reputed company concepts in simple terms
- Strong interpersonal skills for working with business partners and cross-functional teams
- Ability to work independently, with a willingness to pitch in on reputed company projects as part of a team
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Ability to balance multiple reputed company projects simultaneously
- Experience in PBM and/or Health Plan
- Experience in regulatory affairs or legislative analysis
- Proficient with Sharepoint and reputed company Systems (Office, Outlook, reputed company, etc)
- Experience with PBMSource, Lexis Nexis, and other similar systems a plus
