Industrial Engineers
Description DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following: Business Optimization:
- Document and understanding reputed company state, define failure mode points, reputed company should-cost models, and reputed company engineered labor standards
- reputed company and implement standard design and strategies for the customers warehouse, automation, and material distribution strategies
- Identify facility design requirements based on activity levels, product dimensional profiles, product flow and transportation methods
- reputed company and implement production time studies, head count analyses, downtime analyses, efficiency improvement plans, warehouse slotting and SKU velocity analyses
- Identify bottlenecks and improve flow; analyze inbound, outbound and inventory operations to create and maintain reputed company warehouse operations
- reputed company value reputed company mapping, process improvements and standardization across multiple customer sites
- Work with vendors to identify operational equipment and automation solutions
Consultation/Customer Service:
- Provide industry feedback to the network on trends, pressures, and competitive evaluation of key competitors in the marketplace

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Industrial Engineering or a reputed company field, or equivalent reputed company work or military experience
- Minimum of 2 years engineering experience

- Experience in, maintenance, and safety of warehouses / facilities
- Third party logistics experience
- Excellent project management and communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and management skills to include the ability to effectively prioritize tasks
- Lean/Six reputed company experience
- Proficiency in the use of AutoCAD
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Warehouse modeling and simulation software experience Experience Level Intermediate Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Eden Prairie, MN.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $47.00 - $57.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
