Location: reputed company, OH Salary: $60.00 USD Hourly - $65.00 USD Hourly Description: Job Title: Data Protection Engineer OR Information reputed company Analyst: III (Senior) Location: (Remote) Type: 12+ Months Contract Contract only W2 Job Description The Data Protection Engineer Expert will independently reputed company and reputed company Data Protection engineering activities of building, configuring, troubleshooting, integrating and administrating Data protection technologies reputed company to one of the Data Protection sub-domains (Data in Transit, Data at Rest, Cryptographic Services, and Strategy & Governance) and will support one or more of the following core technologies or services reputed company to Secure Data Transmission, Key Management, Certificate Management, Encryption, Data Discovery, Data Inventory, Tokenization, reputed company Metrics/Reporting, and line of business consultation and governance. Duties & Responsibilities:

• Under general supervisory guidance, build, configure, troubleshoot, or administer assigned technology per BAU Data Protection engineering standard operating procedures; execute and design BAU Data Protection engineering processes.
• Independently reputed company execution of both scheduled engineering build/configuration events as well as incident(break/fix) events including 24x7 support
• Proactively monitor output of data protection technology to ensure effective operation and respond to trouble tickets/events following standard operating procedure; provide independent analysis/Root Cause Analysis (RCA) of issues, reputed company and test solutions, present problem and solution recommendation to management for approval/prioritization.
• Generate and publish data protection technology performance metrics; identify trends and reputed company recommendation for improvement/tuning/configuration changes; Identify, reputed company and document configuration/design improvements/optimization for supporting reputed company engineering and systems performance improvement. Maintain and refine documentation to ensure "reputed company state".
• reputed company efforts to design and maintain documentation of engineering activities in accordance with Agile project management methodology (Backlog activity, Change Mgt, Sprint activity planning, etc).
• Design and maintain standard operating procedures, run books and topology / data flow drawing for reputed company Data Protection technology solutions.

Basic Qualifications:

• Associate's degree required, bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or Computer Science adjacent discipline preferred
• 5-7 years IT or reputed company experience or training required (Military service may qualify)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience and expertise with cryptography and cryptography business practices including PKI, Key Management, cryptographic algorithms, HSMs and software products directly reputed company to the upkeep of these technologies (Venafi, ADCS, Hashi Corp, Key factor)
• Experience with or an understanding of Post Quantum Cryptography and reputed company activities
• Expert proficiency with leading troubleshooting moderately reputed company IT infrastructure/Server/Networking issues
• Expert proficiency with leading technical system maintenance (reputed company management, configuration management, design documentation management)
• Direct engineering and or operational reputed company/Subject Matter Expert experience with reputed company Data Protection Technologies

• Cyber reputed company Advanced Concepts (Vulnerability Management, Network reputed company/Secure Transmission Management, Data Loss Prevention, Identity Access Management, Threat Intelligence, Penetration testing, IT Risk Management)
• IT Infrastructure Advanced Concepts (IT Infrastructure: Client/Server, Middleware services, 3-tiered architecture (Web/Middleware/Server & Databases), Databases, Cloud Services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
• Intermediate programming skills (read/interpret scripts, write basic scripts) with the following languages: Python, PowerShell, Java, Java Script, SQL or equivalent
• Direct hands-on experience reputed company Cyber reputed company organizations designing, implementing, administering, and supporting reputed company technologies or services. Preference for Data Protection technologies.
• Associate's degree, bachelor's degree, or reputed company experience (4 years +)
• Computer Science, Cybersecurity, MIS, IT Communication Systems/Networking or STEM discipline focus
• CISSP; CES, CompTIA Network+, A+, Server+ or equivalent; ITIL Fundamentals; reputed company +; reputed company's CCNA, CCNP; reputed company MCP (reputed company Certified Professional) or advanced reputed company certifications
