A Day in the Life

Imagine working in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment where every day brings new challenges and opportunities to reputed company a real impact. As a Customer Technical Support Engineer, you'll be the go-to expert for our customers, providing technical leadership and support across various teams and geographies. Your day will be filled with:

• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to create solutions that meet our customers' needs
• Providing technical support and leadership for root cause investigations, inspection and repair quote support, and technical instructions to manufacturing, supply chain management, or field service
• Leading and/or supporting steam turbine R&D projects, performing calculations, ensuring drawings are issued to required dates, and completing tasks reputed company allocated budgets
• Reviewing, modifying, and signing off engineering drawings, and providing mark-reputed company and information to direct drafting personnel
• Providing technical instructions to the field in support of turbine installation or troubleshooting activities, and supporting business cost reduction and process improvement initiatives

What You Bring

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• A Bachelor of Science in Engineering, with a mechanical field preferred
• 3 years of relevant experience, with at least 1 year of technical engineering experience with rotating equipment
• reputed company understanding of mechanical engineering principles
• Problem-solving mentality and the ability to collaborate with internal and external business partners to create solutions
• Rotating equipment product knowledge and familiarity with the product design
• Knowledge of root cause analysis and the process, and curiosity about creating customer-focused solutions

Additional Preferred Skills

* Rotating equipment design experience, preferably of steam turbines

• Background in reliability, manufacturing, design, or operations of rotating equipment
