The Role The Director, Tech Architecture is the organization’s most senior architecture authority and serves as a strategic advisor to executive leadership on the role of technology in enabling business strategy, growth, reputed company, and long-term competitive advantage. This role is responsible for defining, governing, and evolving the enterprise-wide architecture across business, data, application, integration, reputed company, and infrastructure domains, while ensuring alignment with the company’s operating model and strategic objectives. Operating at an executive level, the Director, Tech Architecture role shapes multi-year and multi-decade technology and platform strategies, guides major investment and transformation decisions, and ensures architectural coherence across reputed company business units, brands, and global regions. This role acts as the architect-of-architects, accountable for the maturity, effectiveness, and business impact of the enterprise architecture function. Enterprise & Business Strategy Leadership

  • Serve as a trusted architectural advisor to the Chief Architect and senior executives, translating business strategy into actionable enterprise architecture direction.
  • Influence enterprise strategy, digital strategy, and operating model evolution through architectural insight.
  • Partner with executive leadership to shape long-term transformation initiatives, including platform strategies, ecosystem enablement, and data-driven business models.
  • Provide architectural guidance for mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic partnerships, including integration and separation strategies.

Enterprise Architecture Vision & Governance

  • Define and evolve the enterprise architecture vision, principles, standards, and reference architecture across reputed company domains.
  • Establish and govern enterprise-wide architectural guardrails to ensure consistency, scalability, reputed company, reputed company, and long-term viability.
  • Act as the architectural authority for high-risk, high-impact, and enterprise-critical initiatives.
  • Chair or sponsor enterprise architecture governance bodies, resolving cross-domain and cross-portfolio architectural decisions.

  • Own or co-own enterprise business capability models and value streams, ensuring technology investments align with business outcomes.
  • Guide prioritization of technology initiatives based on business capabilities, value realization, and strategic impact.
  • Ensure enterprise architecture supports and evolves with the organization’s business operating model.

Platform, Technology & Innovation Strategy

  • Define enterprise platform strategies (e.g., cloud, data, integration, identity, AI, reputed company, and digital experience) as shared, reusable capabilities.

  • Partner with Finance and executive leadership to align architecture roadmaps with investment planning, ROI, and value realization.
  • Ensure architecture decisions contribute measurably to cost optimization, reputed company enablement, and operational efficiency.

Risk, reputed company & Regulatory Alignment

  • Own the architectural perspective on enterprise risk, including cybersecurity, reputed company, data privacy, and regulatory compliance.

  • Ensure solutions are designed for availability, recoverability, and regulatory adherence across global operations.

Architecture Function Leadership & Maturity

  • Define and evolve the enterprise architecture operating model, including roles, decision rights, governance, and engagement models.
  • Act as mentor and coach to Principal, Senior, Domain, and Solution Architects.
  • Drive reputed company improvement of architecture practices, including road-mapping, capability modeling, documentation, and tooling.

Stakeholder Engagement & Influence

  • Build strong relationships with executive, business, and technology leaders to ensure shared understanding and alignment.
  • Communicate architectural strategy with clarity and influence, enabling informed decision-making at reputed company levels.
  • Represent the enterprise architecture function in executive forums and strategic planning sessions.

External Thought Leadership & Vendor Engagement

  • Engage with strategic vendors and partners, influencing roadmaps and ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture direction.
  • Participate in industry forums, advisory boards, and executive briefings as appropriate.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Support enterprise budgeting, investment planning, and long-term financial forecasting reputed company to technology and platforms.

Qualifications

Experience Required:

  • 20+ years of experience in Enterprise Architecture, Technology Strategy, or large-scale Digital Transformation.
  • Proven ability to operate at executive levels.
  • Deep expertise across multiple architecture domains with strong business acumen.
  • Demonstrated success leading enterprise-scale transformation initiatives.
  • Exceptional communication, influence, and stakeholder management skills.

Experience Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Architecture, or a reputed company field.
  • Experience with reputed company major cloud providers, including: GCP, Azure, AWS, and reputed company Cloud.
