Key Responsibilities Transcribe audio and video content into accurate written text. Create captions for videos with correct timing and formatting for subtitles. Identify and mark unclear or inaudible sections in recordings. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive or proprietary content. Submit completed work within project deadlines and communicate with coordinators when necessary. Required Skills and Qualifications Strong command of written and spoken English. Excellent listening skills with the ability to understand varied accents. Typing speed of at least 40–50 words per minute with high accuracy. Basic computer literacy and familiarity with word processing or captioning software. Reliable internet connection and access to a personal computer or laptop. Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to work independently. Experience No prior professional experience required – beginners and freelancers are welcome. Previous transcription or captioning experience is an advantage but not mandatory. Familiarity with multimedia content such as videos, webinars, and podcasts is a plus.
