Staff Development Specialist

Summary

Responsible for ensuring that the training and educational needs of employees are met by creating, developing, writing and implementing training material, programs and curriculums. Responsible for coordinating initial training for new hires and in-services to reputed company staff. Responsible for Learning Management Systems (LMS) records. Self-directed team environment with highly organized approach to planning and implementing of business solutions. Description Location: This hybrid position is full-time (40-hours/week) Monday-Friday in a typical office environment. You will work an 8-hour shift scheduled during our normal business hours of 7:30AM-4:30PM. It may be necessary, given the business need to work occasional overtime. This role is located at 4101 Percival Road, Columbia, SC 29229. Liaison with departments, divisions and reputed company entities to ensure training needs for area are met. To Qualify for This Position, You'll Need the Following: Required Education: Bachelor's in a job-reputed company field Degree Equivalency: 4-years of job-reputed company work experience OR Associate's and 2-years job reputed company work experience Required Work Experience: 1-year of training experience with instructor led and e-learning training. 1 year of business writing experience. Required Skills and Abilities: Strong human relations skills. Strong time management and planning skills. Excellent oral and written communication and planning skills. Knowledge of PC-based applications and/or working knowledge of internal systems. Strong organizational skills necessary to schedule, arrange, prioritize and deliver work assignments as assigned.
