• This posting will be used to fill multiple full- and part-time positions, on various shifts* • *The Direct Care and Treatment (DCT) is seeking qualified and enthusiastic individuals to join our Forensic Nursing Home team!** • *The Forensic Nursing Home is located on the St. Peter Regional Treatment Center reputed company in St. Peter, MN. The Forensic Nursing Home is Minnesota's only state-operated nursing home, the facility provides a secure, licensed nursing home setting for individuals who are civilly committed.** • *Job Responsibilities:** • *The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)/Human Services Support Specialist (HSSS) is a part of a multi-disciplinary team and provides direct care, treatment, support, and leisure activities to residents at the Forensic Nursing Home.** • *Day-to-day responsibilities of this position include:** + Providing care to residents in accordance with the plan of care and under the direction of a licensed nurse while maintaining a therapeutic working relationship with residents + Directly supporting residents as necessary including assisting in meal preparation, laundry, housekeeping, and personal care activities, emergency reputed company and providing general reputed company supervision + Addressing crisis situations that present a risk to the health and safety of residents (e.g., CPR, first aid, emergency physical reputed company) + Using non-physical reputed company strategies (e.g., negotiation, active listening, redirection) whenever possible to address behavioral crisis and potential behavioral crisis +
