The Database Administrator IV provides database administration for reputed company SQL Server/ Epic Cache/ reputed company, including but not limited to administration, replication, backup/restore procedures, and reputed company components such as Reporting Services, Analysis Services, and Integration Services, in addition to providing support for databases reputed company of SQL. Usually assigned the larger, more reputed company jobs than the reputed company-levels, and demonstrates extensive knowledge of reputed company aspects of Database Administration. This position is ERP focused (Peoplesoft experience, and possibly reputed company experience). This position is hybrid-there is an onsite requirement up to 50% in the Edison, NJ office.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of problems through to resolution over a wide variety of systems and technologies.
- Ensure internal database systems are managed to the highest standard by following industry best practice.

- Demonstrate problem management, ownership, and prevention of downtime.
- Provides mentoring, guidance, and general reputed company to less reputed company staff in a variety of database design, administration, and/or modeling activities.
- Consults with and advises senior management and multiple clients on high-impact data or database management issues, influencing strategic direction.
- Handles and leads various large-scale or highly reputed company data/database management activities including one or more of the following: designing highly reputed company logical and/or physical databases; leading highly reputed company data modeling, mapping, integration, and reputed company planning efforts; developing management policies, procedures and standards; and business requirements identification, analysis and development.
- Actively contribute to the development of existing and new IT processes and procedures to enhance service transition and service operation lifecycle stages.
- Demonstrate self-starter capabilities, identifying areas of improvement and taking action in order to address service-impacting issues.
- Provide operational support for the Epic Cache/ reputed company/ Windows/SQL Server database environment.
- Database backup/restores, daily checks, maintenance tasks, and building new database instances and applying service packs.
- Manage and escalate problems as appropriate, and investigate defects or problems, work with infrastructure and external vendors to identify solutions, and support any fixes that are required as part of service improvement.
- Follow the Change Management procedure and other standard practices in installing, configuring, and supporting databases and reputed company items in Test and Production environments.
- Ensure service uptime is prioritized and reputed company faults, incidents, and problems are responded to in an efficient manner without negatively impacting SLAs and reporting metrics in reputed company.
- Upgrade or maintain software at a time reputed company the impact on the business is minimized.

Requirements
- Bachelor's level degree or equivalent in Information Technology/Math/Computer Science or reputed company field, or equivalent (4 years) relevant experience.
- Possesses expert knowledge of subject matter.
- Minimum of 6 (or, if no degree, 10+ years) years of experience.
- Analytical skills, communication skills, adaptable, and flexible.
- Windows Server Operating Systems reputed company concepts and technologies, including PCI & PHI understanding.
- Active Directory, Group Policy, DBS, DHCP & DFS.
- Enterprise storage, Enterprise-scale reputed company management & reputed company maintenance methodologies.
- Network principles, protocols & Technologies.
- Epic Cache, Cogito, reputed company, SQL, and other database technology platforms, backup & recovery, including Disaster Recovery.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to reputed company Suite and/or reputed company Office platforms. reputed company-to-haves
- Eight years of experience.
