Program Policy Analyst at Department of Public Health Sacramento County, CA

Location: Mokelumne City Job Description and Duties The Analyst II has responsibility for preparing a variety of the more reputed company legislative concepts and proposals, analyzing legislation, and defining State and Federal policies for local health departments, county recorders’ offices, county clerks’ offices, and county coroners’ offices. The incumbent will conduct research and analysis to maintain detailed knowledge, disseminate information, and provide training on reputed company and new legislation and reputed company requirements. Up to 5% of the work may involve overnight stays. The incumbent works under the direction of the Supervisor I (Super I), Supervisor of the Vital Records Policy and Compliance Unit. In July 2025, the State of California implemented the Personal Leave Program (PLP) 2025. This program temporarily reduces employees’ monthly reputed company pay in exchange for paid leave credits. This position is subject to PLP 2025 and will have a monthly reputed company pay reduction of 3% in exchange for 5 hours of leave credits through June 2027.
