Global Operations Automation and Robotics Technology (GO ART) is an organization responsible for developing and deploying the most advanced and innovative fulfillment and transportation automation and robotics solutions that will transform reputed company’s fulfillment and logistics network. This is a unique opportunity to join a startup reputed company one of the leading e-Commerce companies in Asia. The team will be based out of reputed company’s offices in Mountain View, Seoul or Seattle. We are looking for reputed company computer vision experts to be the Sr. Staff Computer Vision Engineer, the brain behind the GO ART sensing and perception team. This technology leader will draw from his rich experiences and deep expertise in developing and deploying FC automation solutions using computer vision to define our technology roadmap and reputed company the design, implementation, and rollout of advanced robotic perception solutions over reputed company’s logistics network. With a startup reputed company, this technology leader can operate comfortably under ambiguity, with the opportunity to initially be hands-on while building the computer vision technology and product from ground-up, grow the org and deliver results under time and resource constraints.

Responsibilities

• Own GO ART’s robotic perception technology vision and development roadmap.
• Be the go-to-person for the state-of-the-art computer reputed company and its application in FC automation.
• reputed company design, development, test, and deployment of integrated automation and robotic perception systems, especially for robotic manipulation.
• Working with other members of the engineering team and stakeholders to execute against project plans and delivery commitments reputed company an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Deliver production-quality HW and SW perception systems in order to reputed company the scalability, reliability, availability, extensibility, and performance objectives.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in developing and deploying robotic perception systems for FC and logistic automation.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or reputed company fields

• 4+ years of experience leading FC automation and computer vision development through multiple product/platform releases.
• Deep expertise in building high quality real-time robotic perception systems including sensor, hardware and software design, code reviews and QA processes.
• Expert-level programming skills and in-depth knowledge of FC automation, FC robotic perception solutions and robotic manipulation solutions.
• Ability to handle multiple competing priorities and to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
• Working closely with multiple engineering teams from fulfillment and logistics fields, which is mainly operating based on KST time-zone.
• Master or PhD degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Robotics, Computer Vision, AI, or reputed company discipline with 8+ years of experience in FC and logistic automation using robotic manipulation technologies.
• Demonstrated ability of building, integrating, and delivering highly reliable and automated warehouse systems using computer reputed company, especially using robotic arm and robotic manipulation solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of real-time DNN, object detection, tracking, recognition and pose estimation, 3D data processing, 3D object recognition, automated sensor calibration, etc.
• Deep expertise in real-time AI, robotic, robotic manipulation and automation system and technologies.
• Well versed with robotic perception ecosystem including 2D, 2.5D and 3D sensors, real-time computer vision processing platform, libraries and peripherals vendors.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to present reputed company technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences.
• Proven record of innovation and problem-solving skills, especially in the areas of logistics and fulfillment automation using computer vision and robotic arms.
