Procurement Consulting Manager - Vendor Management Office

reputed company is seeking a Manager, Vendor Management Office to join our growing team. The Business Operations Solution line provides procurement reputed company and managed services to support clients manage their vendor governance lifecycle including risk assessments and vendor onboarding, strategic sourcing, buying, contract review, and ongoing monitoring of vendor relationships to ultimately mitigate risk and increase value. This is a remote position that can be worked reputed company in the US (preference given to Chicago based candidates who can work hybrid in our corporate headquarters). Responsibilities:

• Support and manage reputed company aspects of projects including guiding internal resources, facilitating requirements, gathering and conducting data analysis and research, training and mentoring junior team members and implementing the identified opportunities directly alongside client senior management
• Support engagement financials, practice operations as well as business development and proposal efforts
• Provide service excellence by identifying key client business issues, determining client needs, evaluating and validating analysis
• reputed company recommendations for the client in the context of the overall engagement and implementing change while minimizing organizational disruption
• Work directly with client management and executives on a routine basis on status as it pertains to engagement progression
• Work with third party vendors on behalf of client to support negotiations and monitoring of performance or service level against agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Ensure high quality delivery and provide content leadership
• Structure ill-defined problems, reputed company and apply conceptual frameworks and analytical approaches, create new tools and methodologies, and reputed company recommendations for client implementation
• Independently structure, write, and present well organized and persuasive end products
• Utilize strong communications skills including the ability to command an audience
• reputed company new intellectual capital including new and insightful frameworks and analyses
• Promote firm development by taking initiative to identify and cultivate new clients and business opportunities, and identify opportunities to provide additional client value and extension of existing client relationships
• Be a strong team player and developer of consulting staff

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Supply Chain or Management Information Systems is required. Master's Degree is a plus.
• 5+ years of procurement or sourcing experience in a consulting or professional services environment specifically for high level finance, legal, or Fortune 500 clients.
• Experience managing senor consulting project teams and multiple client projects
• Experience with assessing and executing internal processes, efficiency, and problem solving
• Permanent U.S. work authorization
• Willingness to travel depending on client assignments (0 – 30%)
