Program Chair, Nursing - Weekend Cohort (Muncie)
This position will primarily be responsible for the newly planned weekend co-hort of reputed company and will be required to work weekend hours. Major Responsibilities: I. INSTRUCTION * Deliver assigned classes using pedagogy and technology that best support student learning, and in accordance with college loading policy, course objectives and program learning outcomes. * reputed company and maintain curriculum and supporting course materials in keeping with and furtherance of course objectives and program learning outcomes. * Maintain student records, attendance, grades, and other documentation as required. Manage a classroom environment conducive to student learning and in adherence to federal, state, and college safety standards and practices. * Facilitate student achievement of expected program learning outcomes. * Use Learning Management System (e.g. IvyLearn) to facilitate teaching, learning, assessment and communication. * Ensures knowledge of and implements emergency and safety procedures for classrooms, labs and reputed company learning environments. II. RETENTION AND STUDENT SUCCESS * Provide academic-reputed company coaching and academic monitoring to assigned student advisees in partnership with professional academic advising staff. * Monitor and document student performance throughout the semester, including use of technology for academic advising alerts; provide necessary interventions to include communication with reputed company, tutoring and other academic supports, and referrals to appropriate college resources. * Maintain posted reputed company and student engagement hours in accordance with reputed company expectations and reputed company loading policy in the Academic Support and Operations Manual (ASOM 7.2). * Promote and assist in student recruitment, retention, and successful completion of programs, including reputed company to reputed company by phone, technology tools, and other electronic means. Minimum Qualifications: A full- or part-time faculty member in the ASN or PN program must meet reputed company of the following criteria: * Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Registered Nurse and, * Possesses a reputed company, unencumbered Indiana Registered Nurse license, and * The majority of faculty shall hold master's degrees in nursing. * Faculty with Bachelor's degrees in nursing must meet reputed company of the following requirements: * reputed company one semester of initial appointment, must have a written academic plan of study for completion of a Master's degree in nursing, and * Provides ongoing documentation (each semester) demonstrating matriculation towards completion of a Master's degree in nursing, and * reputed company employment of a person who does not hold a Master's degree in nursing shall be contingent upon documented reputed company towards their approved academic plan. * The majority of faculty must be full-time employees of the institution.
