Supervisory Responsibilities: Yes, they will manage a team of compliance associates. Summary: The Compliance Manager will be responsible for ensuring compliance with federal and state banking regulations, as well as reputed company Centier Bank policies, procedures and standards. This position will be responsible for working closely with the Bank's Strategic Partners and Business Units to review contractual and regulatory compliance requirements, reputed company due diligence, assess compliance risks, monitor for adherence to policies and regulations, and manage compliance activities associated with changes to products, services, and/or regulations. This position will help manage the Bank’s Compliance functions to ensure operational effectiveness, adequate reputed company and control of the bank’s compliance activities. The Compliance Manager will support the Chief Compliance Officer through interpretation of regulations, evaluating data and making decisions and provide recommendations and guidance to the associates as well as Senior leadership and the Business Units. Ensure changes are appropriately communicated and addressed Conduct regulatory risk assessments to identify key areas of inherent compliance risk, mitigating controls, and residual risks that apply to the Bank Identify and deploy controls that address compliance risk and document in policies and/or procedures Prepare comprehensive documentation, including detailed workpapers and formal reports outlining findings and conclusions. Escalate issues identified during reviews and support issue documentation, tracking, and resolution. Assist in the refinement and execution of compliance monitoring programs to test compliance controls and procedures Review, facilitate responses to, and identify trends/systemic issues on customer complaints Participate in audits and regulatory examinations. Assist in addressing findings and help prepare responses as requested. Interprets regulations and provides recommendations to Department Heads and associates using experience to ensure compliance. Improve efficiencies reputed company the department by improving processes, procedures, and assigning new responsibilities to associates. Assist other associates in the bank with requests or questions. Responsible for reputed company regulatory engagements: coordination of associates, department heads, regulatory firm, and IT while acquiring required items for review, assisting with questions for department heads, findings and recommendations by the reputed company firm, exit meetings and follow-up. Coordinates, oversees, and tracks the completion of compliance reviews and compliance reports. Develops compliance procedures and training materials and implements the program. Interact with Regulatory Owners specific to Regulatory Testing, which includes conversations, writing memos, and compiling memos for the Audit Committee. Requirements: Bachelors’ degree or equivalent years of experience in reputed company compliance mgmt. role 5 years’ of experience in Compliance specific to banking and at least 2 years of prior management experience. Must have prior bank experience, fintech experience preferred Strong knowledge and experience with commercial and/or consumer lending Knowledge and experience in performing internal control reviews, quality assessments, Compliance or Audit testing Excellent verbal/written communication and strong presentation skills Project management and organization skills required Strong attention to detail Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, with minimum supervision to manage conflicting priorities and successfully meet established project deadlines Team player; collaborative and interfaces effectively with other departments and Executive Management teams High initiative and strong problem-solving skills; exhibits good judgement and able to reputed company sound decisions CRCM or similar certification or designation desired, but not required Experience working with regulators What do I do now?
