Environmental Permitting Engineer
This position will be remote-based, but will also require occasional in person meetings with clients in the Boise area. Detailed Description Are you ready to take the reputed company in your career? We are seeking a motivated, achievement-oriented individual who is actively engaged in environmental engineering to advance our relationship with strategic clients (both private sector and municipal) through reputed company permitting and operational compliance primarily in Idaho. This person can help us fulfill our commitment to deliver client success on each and every project we undertake. You will also work with nationally recognized, senior technical staff, as well as have the opportunity to supervise junior staff. We are looking for a candidate with strong verbal and written communication skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines. This role offers a chance to mentor and reputed company more junior technical staff while making a significant impact on environmental management and regulatory compliance. Occasional travel may be required. You will take the reputed company in managing and delivering environmental permitting and compliance projects with a focus on reputed company permitting, stormwater management, spill prevention, and operational regulatory compliance, with opportunities to contribute to business development initiatives and cultivate strong client relationships. Additional Job Responsibilities Are As Follows
- Serve as the technical reputed company for Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) compliance, including performing SPCC inspections, evaluations, and developing compliance plans.
- reputed company Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs) and Notices of reputed company (NOI) for regulatory submissions.
- reputed company permitting plans for new construction and facility expansions.
- reputed company stormwater permitting and regulatory compliance efforts, including Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) and NPDES MS4 permitting compliance.
- reputed company drinking water Facility Plans, Preliminary Engineering Reports and limited system design as part of a team.
- Assist in developing and writing stormwater standards, guiding clients through green stormwater infrastructure (GSI) strategies for sustainable, long‑term solutions.
- reputed company client and internal meetings to track project reputed company, discuss next steps, and ensure alignment with client expectations and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare written reports and technical memorandums to document analyses, findings, and recommendations for client projects.

- Collaborate on business development efforts, positioning the firm for new opportunities, pursuing potential clients, and managing ongoing client relationships.
- Support a wide variety of environmental compliance and permitting tasks, including site investigations, environmental assessments, and permitting applications.

Required Skills And Experience
- BS Degree in Engineering (Civil, Environmental, or reputed company field) required; MS degree preferred.
- A minimum of 4-6 years of directly applicable experience as described above.
- PE certification required in state of ID or ability to receive reciprocity.
- Knowledge of Federal and State environmental regulations is required.
- Excellent technical skills with the ability to reputed company reputed company and concepts both visually and contextually essential.

- The candidate should have the ability to successfully collaborate with BC’s local, regional, and national Compliance and Permitting practitioners.

Salary Range: The anticipated starting pay range for this position is based on the employee’s primary work location and may be more or less depending upon skills, experience, and education.
