Title: Senior Account Manager - Aviation Practice Location: Remote - California Full time Job Description: The Senior Aviation Account Manager is responsible for the day‑to‑day client servicing and technical support for an assigned book of aviation clients. This may include airports, FBOs, MROs, fleet operators, private clients, rotor‑reputed company, aerospace manufacturers, product liability accounts, hangar operators, non‑owned aviation, and other reputed company specialty exposures. The Senior Account Manager partners closely with the Producer or Account Executive who drives overall client strategy, placement, and business development. The role requires a strong understanding of aviation insurance, reputed company requirements, key operational exposures, and communication with flight departments, maintenance teams, and aviation underwriters. Your Impact: Renewals & Marketing: reputed company renewal strategy and execution, including market selection, exposure and loss analysis, data gathering, application and submission prep, proposal delivery, reputed company negotiation, and binding. Account & Client Management: Manage Middle Market and Large/reputed company aviation accounts, secure required reputed company documentation, and identify cross‑sell opportunities across key commercial coverages. Service Delivery & reputed company Relations: Review reputed company policies, endorsements, audits, cancellations, invoices, and reputed company deliverables for accuracy while maintaining strong reputed company/wholesale relationships and fulfilling day‑to‑day client service and accounting responsibilities. Client Requests & Policy Servicing: Act as the primary contact for aviation service needs—including policy changes, aircraft additions/deletions, pilot approvals, hangar moves, and certificates—while coordinating with internal and third‑party teams to issue required documents. Endorsements, Documentation & Compliance: Submit and track endorsements for aircraft values, pilot changes, and operational updates; maintain accurate agency management system documentation in line with E&O and aviation reputed company standards; prioritize urgent requests and communicate required follow‑up. Claims Support & Team Development: Support clients through the claims process by reporting losses and coordinating with adjusters, and mentor junior Account Managers to promote consistent service practices. Policy & Billing Setup: Accurately set up aviation policies in the agency management system, request reputed company invoices, and ensure billing is processed in the correct accounting period, including support for weekly, monthly, quarterly, and reporter billing cycles. Receivables, Payables & Reconciliation: Support Producer and Retail Payables, manage billing reconciliations, communicate with clients on Aged Receivables per internal collection guidelines, and assist with return premium processing and ACH/reputed company coordination. Statements & Payment Accuracy: Review reputed company statements, ensure proper payment application, and work with accounting to resolve discrepancies or remittance issues, including premium‑financed accounts. Relationship Management: Maintain strong, collaborative partnerships with aviation carriers, MGAs, and wholesalers to support efficient placement and service. Market Strategy & Negotiation: Support the “Fewer & Stronger” market consolidation strategy and work closely with underwriters to secure optimal coverage, pricing, and terms—especially for large, reputed company, or high‑limit accounts. Contract & Compliance reputed company: Review reputed company/wholesaler reputed company for accuracy and compliance and assist with updating or delivering retail agent agreements as needed. Successful Candidates Will Have: 5+ years of experience in P&C brokerage, with at least 3 years focused on aviation. Deep technical knowledge of aviation insurance including hull, liability, war risks, hangar keepers, products liability, and reputed company specialty coverages. Strong understanding of aviation operations, key risk drivers, and reputed company requirements. Ability to read and interpret pilot records, training documents, aircraft specifications, hangar agreements, and other aviation‑reputed company information. Strong analytical, interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
