Job Description

Role Overview The Modern Workplace Engineering team is responsible for delivering next-generation end-user computing platforms across Windows, Mac, and Mobile in a highly regulated Digital Workplace environment. We are seeking an Apple Endpoint Engineer with a primary focus on iOS and iPadOS, and secondary responsibility for macOS. The role requires strong engineering ownership, cross-functional collaboration, and a commitment to improving security, stability, and end-user experience at enterprise scale. An individual who can demonstrate a pride of ownership in everything they do is of the highest importance. Key Responsibilities iOS / iPadOS (Primary)

• Provide engineering-level (L4) support for corporate-owned and personal Apple mobile devices.
• Deploy, administer, and operate MobileIron (Ivanti) and Microsoft Intune MDM/MAM platforms.
• Administer Office 365, Intune, and Azure device compliance and conditional access integrations.
• Maintain development, test, and production environments including upgrades, patching, and optimization.
• Deploy and manage iOS applications including configuration, updates, and lifecycle management.
• Manage test plans and pilot groups for new iOS/iPadOS releases and drive OS adoption strategies.

macOS (Secondary)

• Provide engineering-level support for corporate macOS endpoints.
• Support Jamf Pro / Jamf Cloud administration including configuration profiles and restriction policies.
• Contribute to macOS testing, pilot programs, and upgrade readiness activities.
• Assist with macOS application packaging, VPN configurations, and update workflows.

Cross-Platform & Operational Responsibilities

• Architect and align Apple endpoint management solutions with business and security requirements.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and best-practice guidance.
• Provide training and knowledge transfer to L1/L2 /L3 support teams.
• Collaborate with global stakeholders including InfoSec, AIM, Network, and Service Management teams.
• Continuously challenge existing processes and drive operational improvements.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with MobileIron (Ivanti) and Microsoft Intune (mandatory).
• 5+ years of progressive IT experience.
• Strong experience supporting iOS/iPadOS in a regulated enterprise environment using MDM solutions.
• Experience supporting Apple platforms at enterprise scale.
• Strong understanding of authentication, networking, wireless, VPN, and endpoint security concepts.
• Scripting or automation experience using PowerShell or similar tools.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across global teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Jamf Pro / Jamf Cloud and macOS administration.
• Experience with Apple Business Manager, Volume Purchase Program, and Apple Configurator.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, Azure AD, and certificate distribution (SCEP/NDES).
• Scripting proficiency in Bash, Zsh, or Python.
• Familiarity with Zscaler on macOS.
