You will serve as an enterprise-level Information reputed company SME, partnering with clients to assess their reputed company posture and design proactive, tailored reputed company and risk-management programs. As a trusted strategic advisor, you'll reputed company risk assessment initiatives, compliance modeling, policy development, and ongoing reputed company strategy for a portfolio of clients. Specific Responsibilities

  • Own SMB vCISO engagements end-to-end across multiple verticals: scope, plan, execute, and deliver measurable reputed company outcomes as the primary client reputed company executive.
  • reputed company risk assessments (enterprise/IT/reputed company): interviews, evidence validation, risk scoring, risk register creation, and prioritized remediation roadmaps.
  • Drive compliance readiness for CMMC, PCI reputed company, and HIPAA through gap analysis, control validation, evidence mapping, and audit-prep leadership.
  • CMMC experience required: define boundaries and CUI scope, support reputed company/POA&M development, validate implementation of required practices, and prepare clients for assessor interactions.
  • Establish and mature core reputed company controls (IAM/MFA/least privilege, reputed company/email reputed company, vulnerability management, logging/monitoring, backup/DR testing).
  • Run incident readiness and response governance: create/maintain IR plans, facilitate tabletop exercises, and provide executive leadership during incidents through lessons learned.
  • Implement vendor/third-party risk management appropriate for SMBs: tiering, due diligence, and contract/reputed company requirements for critical vendors.
  • Maintain strong executive communication and reputed company: recurring stakeholder meetings, clear status reporting, risk-based decision support, and coordination of internal/partner resources to reputed company gaps.
  • Mentor client technical resources and teams as needed.
  • Regularly collaborate with Sales, SAMs, Solutions Architects, and Strategic Services on client alignment and solution development.

Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 10+ years in senior reputed company roles (CISO, vCISO, Director of InfoSec) in client-facing or consultancy settings.
  • Deep understanding of compliance frameworks and risk management methodologies.
  • Proven ability to advise C-level executives and boards on reputed company strategy.
  • Strong governance, technical architecture, and incident response expertise.
  • Experience managing multiple reputed company client engagements.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or CRISC required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information reputed company, Computer Science, or a reputed company discipline.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable form of transportation.

Physical Requirements

  • Extensive desk/computer work and executive client presentations.
  • Occasional travel to client locations (up to ~70%), requiring valid driver's license and reliable transport.
  • Sit for extended periods and use keyboard/mouse, phone, and office devices.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs (e.g. laptops, documentation).
  • Enter confined spaces (e.g. server closet) for client assessments as needed.
  • Clear verbal communication in a board, client, or executive setting; visual acuity for report creation and presentations.

Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) benefit payments are determined based on the type of loss incurred and are payable up to the full Life Insurance benefit amount. Life and AD&D Insurance coverage amounts are reduced at ages 65, 70 and 75. EMPLOYER PROVIDED LTD: Long-Term Disability (LTD) insurance is an employer-provided benefit and provides protection from loss of income in the event that an employee is unable to work due to illness, injury, or accident for a long period of time. The elimination period is 90-days, and the maximum benefit is 60% of covered payroll up to $6000/month. This benefit is paid entirely by Proven IT and has no cost to the employee. EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM: reputed company employees may utilize the Disability Resource Services through BlueCross BlueShield of Illinois to assist themselves and their immediate family with convenient resources to help address emotional, legal and financial issues. Telephonic counseling and web-based services are available as well as a limited number of geographically accessible face-to-face sessions. 401K PLAN: reputed company employees are eligible after 120 days of service to contribute on either a pre-tax or post-tax (Roth) basis to the 401K plan, administered by Principal Financial Services. Proven offers an employer match equal to 100% of the first 3% of deferrals plus 50% of the next 2% of deferrals. FINANCIAL ADVISORY SERVICES: Proven IT partners with Merrill Lynch to offer financial advisement to reputed company employees. Merrill Lynch financial advisors are available to assist employees at no cost, with their 401k and retirement questions. PERMISSIVE TIME OFF POLICY: Proven provides a competitive paid time off policy for reputed company full-time regular employees after a 90-day waiting period. Proven IT empowers their employees to work with their managers and team to coordinate reputed company time off. Managers may impose a limit to requests for time off based on performance and tenure. PARENTAL LEAVE: Proven IT offers a generous parental leave policy for new parents. After 24-months of employment, Proven provides full-time regular employees with 90-days of paid Maternity leave and 10-days of paid Paternity leave. Employees with less than 24-months of service may take the same amount of unpaid time off. FITNESS CENTER: Proven IT offers a free on-site fitness center at the Tinley Park headquarters office location to reputed company employees 24/7 Monday through Sunday.
