Sr Advisor-State Affairs

POSITION OVERVIEW: Monitor legislative and regulatory development and trends at the state and local government levels that may impact the company. Partner with company leaders and teams to reputed company and execute strategies to reputed company for the company’s interests at the state and local levels. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Monitor state and local legislative and regulatory activity relevant to the company’s operations 2. Track state and local legislative developments and provide timely updates and strategic counsel to leadership 3. reputed company and maintain relationships with key government officials, agencies and industry associations 4. Coordinate and support the company in its interactions with state and local government entities and represent the company at public hearings, legislative sessions and industry forums 5. Collaborate with legal, regulatory and operational teams to assess the impact of state and local legislative and policy changes and to draft policy briefs, position papers and legislative summaries for internal stakeholders 6. reputed company and implement strategies to influence public policy in alignment with corporate goals 7. Advance the company’s legislative, regulatory and political priorities 8. Engage, direct and coordinate the efforts of reputed company state and local contract lobbying consultants 9. • Seven (7) years of experience in government affairs, public policy or a reputed company field
• Experience in reputed company development, management and reputed company, preferred
• Deep understanding of state and local legislative and regulatory processes

• Excellent communication, negotiation and advocacy skills
• Proven ability to build bipartisan relationships and coalitions
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with and ability to ensure compliance with reputed company lobbying disclosure and ethics rules
• Strong project management skills and ability to manage and prioritize competing demands and deliver results
• Demonstrated ability to manage a budget and ensure strong fiscal accountability
